About Me
I grew up amongst gardens! My mother was a Master Gardener in Wisconsin and had a large and beautiful garden that me and my three siblings loved to play in. I remember helping my mom pick rhubarb, tomatoes, and sugar snap peas, all of which I happily devoured. I also spent summers at her grandparents' dairy and wheat farm, helping in the large farm garden and my grandmother's lovely homey kitchen. When I moved to Florida at age 21, I experienced my first failures as a gardener as I attempted to grow in the Florida sand and heat. However, In 2011, I had my first Florida gardening success growing tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuces in the vertical aeroponic Tower Gardens on a small 5x10 concrete pad in my tiny backyard. Since then, I have been sharing and educating customers about the Tower Garden, receiving several awards for excellence. In 2018, I attended Master Gardener education and training from UF/IFAS Extension. I also administer three gardening Facebook groups and have over 1500 happy Tower Garden customers, many of whom I am grateful to now call friends.
