Got Aphids? Get Ladybugs!

Ladybugs might be your knights in shining armor if you have aphids & are growing outdoors!

Where Do I Get My Ladybugs?

Ladybugs are nature's most effective aphid killer is ladybugs!

(If you want to know more about aphids, check out this video from Koppert)

What Do I Do Once My Ladybugs Arrive?

When your ladybugs arrive, Spray your plants first with a sticky substance, such as Sprite or sugar water, to provide food and water and keep the ladybugs happy for a day. When you are ready, release them early in the evening. Your little ladies will lay eggs, fly away, and in a few days, you'll have another generation mopping up any leftover aphids the first generation missed.

Note: DO NOT SPRAY PESTICIDES (INCLUDING SOAP OR NEEM OIL) AFTER YOU RELEASE LADYBUGS, OR YOU'LL KILL THEM.

Happy Planting!
